During London's tube strike, Transport for London created an alternative transit map that showed walk times between stations. The map was intended to help Londoners plan trips that might be interrupted by strike activity. But it also served as a great walking map to the city. Now Treated.comhas calculated the caloric distance between New York City subway stops, translating walk times directly into calories burned. (The data is for a person who weighs the average American weight of 179 pounds, walking three miles per hour.)
